An innovative service connecting our Graphic Arts industry delivers new business for commercial printers and hassle free print for designers.
The Print Exchange makes the lives of Australia’s Graphic Arts professionals easier, less stressful, more profitable and just a little bit more fun.
Designed by Australian graphic arts technology company D2P, an established leader in the printing industry, the web based system offers many advantages over the traditional and time-consuming methods of collecting print job quotes and delivering artwork.
"The beauty of TPX is that it is free for designers, puts literally hundreds of printing companies at their finger tips and makes it easy to request and compare printing quotes for almost any printing requirement" said D2P’s Managing Director John Weichard.
The new website www.tpx.com.au, generates a list of printers depending on the designer’s requirements. Such parameters considered are location, type of job and deadline. Depending on the criteria selected, the web site generates a shortlist of specialists for each printing project.
It is then up to the designer to select as few or as many printers who they would like to quote on their job. A screen within the website then displays all quotes, allowing the designer to make an easy and well informed decision.
After selecting a printer, The Print Exchange encompasses world leading PDF workflow technology that creates and delivers artwork of any file type and size as a print ready PDF directly to the chosen printer.
“We know the traditional methods for delivering artwork for print introduce problems into the workflow. TPX is a seamless operation that minimises the associated risks and costs when going to press." stated Weichard.
"We are seeing that the latest version of The Print Exchange is helping to drive up profits for printers and customers alike as it slashes error rates, improves efficiency and eradicates wastage.”
To celebrate the launch of the next generation of The Print Exchange, D2P are giving TPX customers the chance to win a large screen TV or one of several exclusive wine packs.
"Anyone who registers with TPX and uses any of our free services to purchase a print job will be eligible to enter the Print for Prizes promotion."
"People will quickly recognise the ease of operation offered by TPX and will wonder how they ever managed without it." said Mr Weichard.
